Alaska Airlines is launching new service to Western Alaska and the Aleutian Islands.
Nonstop passenger flights will soon be offered between Anchorage and Cold Bay, Dillingham and King Salmon.
“With the loss of air service to Dutch Harbor, this new service will provide an option for residents and travelers to connect to Unalaska on other carriers,” said Marilyn Romano, the company’s regional vice president.
Service to and from Cold Bay begins on May 16 and will be offered twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Service to and from Dillingham and King Salmon begins May 18, with Dillingham flights being offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and King Salmon flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Cargo service will also be available soon to Cold Bay, Dillingham and King Salmon.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, Alaska Airlines has taken on extra cleaning measures and blocked out middle seats to create extra space between guests.
Detailed information and tickets are available now on the Alaska Airlines website or by calling 1-800-252-7522.
